Meet the Founder - Angela Smith
Angela is the Founder of Red Carpet, establishing the salon in 2008 with a lifelong passion for hairdressing and a clear vision of creating something of her own.
Inspired by her own mother, Angela knew from an early age that hairdressing was her path. She built her reputation through competition work before progressing into salon management and ultimately opening her own salon, turning her vision into reality.
Over 14 successful years, Angela grew Red Carpet into a thriving salon, mentoring many stylists through their training and careers. She built a strong, supportive team and times of up to 16, with a culture rooted in high standards, education, and genuine care.
Deeply connected to both her team and the Wendover community, Angela was passionate about giving back and supporting charities wherever possible. Her ethos remains at the heart of the salon today: “Let us give you the Red Carpet treatment so you leave ready to step onto the Red Carpet.”
Her legacy continues through Georgia and the team, with the same values, passion, and commitment carried forward into the next chapter of Red Carpet, now led by the third generation.
Georgia Smith - Owner
Georgia is the Owner and Managing Director of Red Carpet, bringing a hands-on leadership style and a deep-rooted connection to the salon.
Qualified in both hairdressing and barbering, her passion lies in men’s hair and grooming, where she delivers sharp, tailored results with a strong focus on detail and finish. She remains a highly present figure within the salon, leading from the front and maintaining exceptional standards across the business.
As the daughter of the founder, Georgia has built upon a strong legacy of values centred around education, support, and progression, while introducing her own modern, refined approach to the brand.
Georgia has also been part of the ghd Pro Network and featured on Creative HEAD platform including attending a Moroccanoil event in Las Vegas. She has also been featured in a UK-wide magazine distributed to Moroccanoil stockists, sharing insight into her business and brand direction.
Georgia continues to evolve Red Carpet with a focus on delivering a premium salon experience and building a strong, high-performing team.
Lisa - Salon Coordinator
Lisa is our Receptionist and Salon Coordinator and has been part of Red Carpet since the doors first opened, bringing over 30 years of experience within the hairdressing industry.
As the first point of contact for every client, Lisa is known and loved by all. She has an exceptional memory and a natural ability to build genuine connections, often remembering personal details that make each client feel truly valued and cared for.
Lisa plays a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the salon, expertly managing appointments, organising diaries, and creating a seamless experience tailored to each individual. Her warm, personable approach puts clients instantly at ease, while her knowledge of the industry allows her to confidently guide them to the right services and timings.
Highly respected by the entire team, Lisa also supports the stylists behind the scenes, helping to manage their schedules, training, and day-to-day organisation. Her professionalism, warmth, and dedication make her an integral part of the Red Carpet experience.
Aimee - Senior Hair Designer
Aimee is our Senior Hair Designer, bringing 11 years of experience and a strong passion for creating beautifully tailored results.
She specialises in balayage, highlights and lowlights, as well as vibrant colour work, and is confident across a wide range of cutting techniques. Aimee particularly excels in creating soft, layered haircuts paired with bouncy, polished blow-dries that enhance movement and shape.
Aimee is a certified Moroccanoil Ambassador for cutting, styling, and colour -an advanced qualification that reflects her technical skill and commitment to high standards.
Known for her thorough consultations, Aimee ensures every client feels comfortable and confident, delivering results that are both personalised and refined.
She is also continuing to expand her expertise in hair extensions, with advanced training in tapes, nanos, and weaves, available in the salon from June 2026.
Her creativity, warmth, and attention to detail make her a trusted member of the Red Carpet team.
Charlotte - Hair Designer
Charlotte is a Hair Designer with 10 years of experience and a true passion for continuous learning and refinement. She is driven by a pursuit of perfection, ensuring every detail of her work is carefully considered and executed.
She specialises in balayage and foilayage, while remaining highly confident across all aspects of hairdressing - from short, textured styles and men’s hair to bold transformations and elegant, polished looks. Charlotte particularly thrives on complete transformations, guiding clients through a full journey to achieve impactful, confidence-boosting results.
Charlotte is also a certified Moroccanoil Ambassador, reflecting her advanced skill set in cutting, styling, and colour, and her commitment to delivering a premium standard of work.
Trained by renowned hair-up specialist Kasia Fortuna, Charlotte brings an elevated level of creativity and technical ability to occasion styling.
Her enthusiasm, energy, and dedication to her craft make her a vibrant and valued part of the Red Carpet team.
Jenny - Senior Artistic Director
Jenny is our Senior Artistic Director- the highest level within the salon with over 35 years of experience and a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
As a Master Colour Expert, she is known for creating precise, personalised colour, alongside exceptional cutting work ranging from textured pixie cuts to sharp bobs and beautifully finished long hair. Her attention to detail is second to none, delivering consistently high-end results her clients have learnt to trust.
Jenny is also our most advanced in-salon educator, specialising in apprentice training and sharing her deep understanding of the science behind hair. Her expertise, precision, and passion make her a highly respected part of the Red Carpet team.
Cat - Artistic Director
Cat is our Artistic Director, bringing 20 years of experience and a genuine passion for the creative and personal side of hairdressing.
She specialises in a wide range of styles, from effortless boho, shaggy cuts to sleek bobs and pixies, alongside beautifully blended balayage, foilayage, and textured colour work. Cat is known for her ability to tailor each service to the individual, creating looks that feel both modern and wearable.
Driven by connection as much as creativity, Cat takes pride in helping clients express themselves and leave the salon feeling confident and refreshed. She is also expanding her expertise in hair extensions, with advanced training in tapes, nanos, and weaves, available in the salon from June 2026.

Apprentices
Ellie - Second Year
Ellie is our second-year apprentice, bringing enthusiasm, energy, and a genuine passion for the industry. She began her journey in hairdressing as a shampooist at just 15 before joining Red Carpet to start her apprenticeship.
Ellie is dedicated to her development and takes pride in every aspect of her work- from caring for clients to maintaining a polished, professional appearance. She is always eager to learn, consistently taking every opportunity to build her skills and grow in confidence.
Already building her own small client base, Ellie is gaining recognition for her warm approach and attention to detail. Her quick-witted personality and positive energy make her a valued presence within the salon, both with clients and the team.
Ellie has a very bright future ahead and is a valued part of the Red Carpet team.
Libby - First Year
Libby is our first-year apprentice, bringing a calm, focused approach combined with a quietly confident personality.
She has a natural ability to learn quickly, taking on new skills with ease and then refining them with care and precision. Libby takes pride in her work and enjoys being hands-on, showing a strong commitment to her education and development within the industry.
Known for her love of organisation, Libby plays an important role behind the scenes - keeping the salon running smoothly, from stock and product displays to the finer details that support the team day to day.
Clients are naturally drawn to her warm nature and subtle sense of humour, and she is already building great relationships within the salon. Libby has a very promising future ahead and is a valued part of the Red Carpet team.
